What is PVC wire?

PVC-coated galvanized wire is used in various areas of life and production. PVC coating – this is a polyethylene chlorine coating (a material that consists of a plasticizer – polymer). The layer of plastic, green or gray in color, is applied to the galvanized wire by extrusion. Depending on the purpose, the thickness of the wire varies from 1.25 mm to 4.5 mm.

Why choose PVC coated wire?

  1.

    Polyvinyl chloride coated wire is protected from many acids, alkaloids, as well as mineral oils and solvents. During the production, special additives are introduced in the composition of PVC, which make the coating insensitive to the action of low temperatures and to the influence of ultraviolet radiation.

  2.

    PVC coated wire differs significantly from other types of wire – double corrosion protection . The first barrier of rust is the galvanized surface, the second – the polyvinyl chloride coating. In addition, this hardware is subjected to a special heat treatment, which further improves performance.

  3.

    PVC coating is flexible , thanks to which it does not crack or come off during installation and transportation;

  4.

    The PVC layer of wire is thicker than the layer of powder paint, so PVC coated wire is more resistant to the environment. p>

    The PVC coating can be different colors at the request of the guarantor: blue, green, yellow, red, orange.

    The tensile strength of the wire is 30-45 kg / sq.m.

    PVC coated wire is available on a 25 kg or 50 kg roll.
