SSQ http://www.ssqgroup.com/ one of the world’s leading manufacturers and exporters of unique slates from natural building materials, which are used for roofs, flooring, interior and exterior decoration of buildings. The SSQ brand was founded in the UK in 1980 and has since imported quality and natural tiles from around the world.

Shale is a rock that has formed as a result of long-term geological activity, with an average age of quality shale of 500 million years. The highest quality shales of the Phyllite category are formed in the bowels of the earth for about 600-650 million years and are characterized by exceptional strength, stability of external conditions, water resistance and unique aesthetics with unadulterated nuance. Global climate change and the deteriorating environmental situation place new and higher demands on materials related to the exterior decoration of structures, as well as on roofing materials. None of the known finishing materials can be compared to slate in terms of strength and durability. Slate, and in particular phyllite, is the only natural material that is suitable for roof buildings.

The most expensive and high quality fillet is called Rolls Roys.

Slate has a different range of colors, but the most common range is gray-black with a wide variety of shades. It is a natural and ecological material with good sound insulation and high strength. The stone is resistant to extreme temperatures, which makes it resistant in any situation.

WHERE CAN I BUY SHISTIC SLABS?

The upper shales https://shop.smartmetalgroup.com/stroitelni-materiali/shistovi-plochi-philit/shistovi-plochi-za-fasadi are mined in open pit mines by cutting the layer from the block of the deposit. The main oil shale quarries are located all over the world, the most famous quarries being in Germany, Spain and South America.

The British company SSQ has its own quarry in Argentina for the extraction of Phyllite, an elite brand of Riverstone. High quality SSQ slate tiles are processed and selected manually https://www.youtube.com/watch?reload=9&v=7VgUzL7Xrnk SSQ also offers more affordable oil shale from Spain and Brazil.

SSQ slates do not need technical support

The use of SSQ slate for exterior cladding of the building significantly increases the thermal insulation characteristics of the structure.

SSQ (Riverstone) slates are highly slip resistant and are often used for lining swimming pools, bathtubs and saunas.

Today, the demand for SSQ shale is growing https://www.youtube.com/watch?reload=9&v=7VgUzL7Xrnk worldwide. SSQ slates are ideal for the most complex roof geometries

WHERE ARE SSQ SIXES USED ?!

Application of shale in construction and design

Slate is gaining more and more popularity in the market of finishing materials every day;

Their matte embossed surface, as well as their muted color palette, create the illusion of a natural velvety feel;

The plate is one of the few materials that meet all fashion trends in eco-style design;

Unlike other materials, slate does not need a decorative texture: polishing and other processing. The most valuable is shale in its natural texture – with a relief surface formed as a result of the division of the rock into slabs;

This exclusive material is often used in the restoration and renovation of cultural and historical buildings. It was used in the renovation of Buckingham Palace, the British History Museum, the construction of the Berlin Museum of Nazism and others.

WHAT IS CREATED FROM SHEST SLABS ?!

1 Roofs. This is the oldest application of oil shale in construction. In Europe you can find 300-400-year-old buildings with original slate roofs. It is also a traditional roofing material for historic and administrative buildings. In modern construction, slate is widely used for first-class roofing homes.

When planting a roof, a minimum slope of 22 degrees is required. The larger the slope, the less tiles are needed for installation.
